How to use this page

Most people arrive here with one of three jobs in mind. If you want to know what something costs before you call anyone, the cost guides above open with the pricing and explain what moves it, rather than asking for your email first. If you want to know what is legal where you drive, the tint law pages carry the actual limits for your jurisdiction plus the states next door, which matters more than people expect when a daily commute crosses a border. And if you already know what you want done, whether that is a wrap shop, a tint installer, a PPF installer or a detailer near you, the shop listings are organized by state and by service so you can get to a shortlist without reading past a few hundred names.

The city guides are the slower read and usually the most useful one. Each covers a single service in a single market: what shops there actually charge, what the local rules are, and what separates a good install from a cheap one. Start with window tinting in New York, wraps in Brooklyn, or detailing on Staten Island if you are in the metro, and use the filter above to find your own city.

Coverage is deepest across New York and New Jersey and grows as shops are researched and verified. Every listing is checked before it publishes, so the hours, phone numbers and services reflect how a shop actually runs. Add your shop if you run one and it belongs here, or read how this directory is put together.
